Multiplier plans
Some plans boost the payout (e.g. 2Γβ5Γ) up to a certain age, then reduce it. We show this as a note but don't factor the age-based boost into the numbers.
Accelerated plans pay out once
A plan with both a death and a critical-illness benefit usually pays out only once β a CI claim reduces the death benefit. We list each benefit's coverage separately and count it toward its own gap, so the combined protection from such a plan can look slightly higher than it actually pays.
